Field of SmileAs per my brothers request, DON’T LOOK AT HIM.  Look at the rolled up stuff in the field we drove past.  Every one had a different smiley (or frowning) face.  Completely Epic.

Apparently this was just in the news.  http://www.news.com.au/national-news/wacky-vandal-tags-hay-crop-in-queensland/story-e6frfkvr-1225791147907 See what happens when you are stuck at home working all the time (or driving and paying too much attention to the road).

Somethings never change

So here’s new windows 7 – semi-excited and thankful it was a give away from Microsoft. While I doubt I would have made the jump from Vista to Windows 7 simply because “it’s here”, here’s something I’ve noted while getting set up.

The “Desktop Icon Settings”, or “Desktop Items” (as known in XP) is still present in the system nearly unchanged. Thinking back (and it hurts) I’m fairly sure that windows 98 and 95 even had similar setups.

I’m referring to having a new interface for the control panel in a brand new OS, and yet when you click on to change desktop icons – look out a flashback of a really old interface hits you in the face.

Not upset or bitching about it, just thought it interesting enough to share.

Sunshine Coast Dust Storm

While it continues to worsen slightly, here’s some photos I took about an hour ago. Quite a strange occurrence for the coast here. In my 15 odd years of living here, I can’t ever recall a day where this has happened.

Appologise for the lack of an “internet”ish post. Been busy at present. Make sure you click on those images for a bigger view.

Cheers
